CURTIS KRICK:
Curtis has acted in, produced and directed a wide variety
of dealies for stage and screen from the classics -
Shakespeare, Marlowe, Brecht - to contemporary and original
works. After receiving his BA in theatre from the University
of Pittsburgh, he went on to get his Master of Fine
Arts in Directing studying with Jim O'Connor at Purdue
Unviersity. At Purdue he met his colleagues Sean Dillon,
Jonny Jenks and Jason Kehler as well as many of the
folks from the Biscuits & Gravy Galaxy of Stars.
Curtis was the first Professor of Media and Performing
Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design and served
as the head of SCAD's directing program for the 2001-2002
academic year. Curtis was the artistic director of Alive
Productions in North Hollywood where he founded their
staged reading series. He has directed productions for
Unicorn Theatre Company, the Savannah Theatre Company
and Women in Film's Comedy Showcase among others. He
has collaborated with Sean Dillon on several scripts
including the one-man show Dramatis Personae. As an
actor, Curtis has performed various roles including
Feste in Twelfth Night, Lennox in Macbeth, and - under
the direction of Sean Dillon - Alonso in The Tempest
and The Third Man in The Baltimore Waltz.
